I havent paid much attention to the Bush twins really, definately not as much as the people here... but I gotta say, I used to think Barbara was kind of unattractive compared to Jenna. I would love to read the entire history of this guest book, however, points are popping into my head too quickly to think straight! Please don't insult the Bush girls and then post a message with your personal hotmail email address visible. That is just moronic! Did the 1989 reference your year of birth, as in 15 or 16? I am thinking it must have (?). I am sure you won't have your address abused by some mean people signing you up for more spam than your hotmail could ever handle.
In response to a second message, please, oh please, oh please, do not make statements about how hard it is for you to make your tuition payments and how George W. Bush should do more to pick up the tab. If you can't afford $40K a year, go the normal route and attend a good old state university that is reasonably priced like the rest of us! That just burns me up to hear someone whine about their $40K tuition being hard to afford when I scratch my head and scream about some of the kids who can't even consider the cheapest of colleges because they have too much family responsibility or something else like that to pay for. Until the day that every kid who desires a college education can get one, we dang sure better not start picking up the tab for situations such as this. My parents paid every penny to send me to a great in-state university in the range of $5,000 a year. Would you like a brochure? I sure as heck don't think that my parents should pay for my entire (affordable) tuition costs while you get a handout so that you can attend (Outrageously overrated) BROWN!! I had the scores and the recs to go somewhere a little more prestigious but not the financial aid so I vacuumed it up and went where I could afford out-of-pocket. My degree is worth just as much as yours will be; all the hype about degrees is just that. When you get out into corporate America, you either have connections or you don't, and those types of connections all boil down to old family ties, not university crests.
Regardless, President and Mrs. Bush, you are a wonderful first couple, and Thank GOD you are in the White House. Lord help our country if you don't get reelected. Also, the twins are smart just down to earth! Giggling and such is not ignorant. It is called enjoying life. If sticking your tongue out is sending you straight to social-grace heaven-, well I sure hope know body was watching my every move at the ripe old age of 22 or so. This hypocritical stuff about the drinking is insane; it is very accepted on college campuses regardless of social upbringing to live it up if you so choose. That is a personal, moral and religious issue for them to decide. Why does everyone want to send them straight to heaven- for behavior most of us exhibited ourselves.
In addition, the media is liberal, people, therefore they stick by their own. That means they will grab a pic of the Bush girls doing something "taboo" in a heartbeat but hide a pic of Clinton with his pants down til the day they die. I personally thought those (2001?) pics of Chelsea "tore up from the floor up" in a European disco were grossly tacky not too mention the "tonsil hockey" in some of them!
*****This is my opinion and I am entitled to it. I did not degrade anyone's opinion on President Bush or John Kerry so please don't bash mine.***** I scratch my head and scream the thing that disappoints me the most about the competition is this "nanny-nanny-boo-boo" childish attitude. Many of the outspoken demos out there representing the entire party are not a very good representation, and I fully acknowledge that most demo's are embarrassed to be linked to some of these quotes. At least the Elephants sound intelligent in their complaints and not like a whiny fifth grader tattle-taling. Again, that surely isn't intended for you regular demos, just for the loud mouth ones that it describes. I am a journalist; please don't smart off that I am speaking out of turn. I know from experience that the liberal media vastly outnumbers the poor little conservative few like myself.

I watched the Bush twins on TV last night too. They seemed a little dumb, though I guess who wouldn't, reading a speech to a zillion people. Barbara was kind of gnarly looking, the thing she did with her mouth. And Jenna really does look like Dad. Plumper. She had a little noise she made in her throat, a buried chuckle, and Laura did it too. Mm-hm. Texas cozy. I couldn't believe their speech writer tried to joke about sex! "Our hamster didn't make it." For a truly weird instant I thought they were suggesting that Laura put it up W's butt --- remember all those gerbil jokes in the '90s?
