This weekend at the Harvard-Yale game, Barbara was partying up a storm! She was seen at numerous New Haven nightspots, including the hip club Alchemy at a $10/All You Can Drink function promoted by the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Though there was a popular band (composed of Yale alumni) playing, she rarely strayed too far from the bar and hung out with a small rat pack (mostly of female, put-together '01 graduates.)

Not to be outdone by Chelsea, Jenna Bush is now wanting to publish her story on the fateful day of 9-11-01 from Austin. Here it is, in her own words:
Jenna Bush’s Account of the WTC Attacks
It was like, early in the morning. Something like 9:30 or 10:00 AM. My roommate got back from her biololygical class and opened up the curtains, which was a very painful experience for me. I had totally had a real ruff night. The night before ya know, I watching Monday Night Football, and the guys at the Sig Ep house were making me slamy my cup of purple passion for every first down that happened.
My roommate said, “Have you heard, the World Trade Center and the Pentagon have been attacked! I said, “What?” She said “The World Trade Center and the …” and I interrupted, “I know what you said. What are those things.”
She then went to turn on the TV and I saw terribul images of buildings on fire, My mama told me: in Chicago or someplace. She then said that Washington was hit in the attack, and the White House was evacuated. I asked, “Didn’t my Daddy’s Missle Defense Shield stop them?”, and she replied, “No, they attacked using hijacked airplanes!”
I was stunned. Before I could try to contemplemate the bad stuff, we heard a loud knock at the door. My roommate opened it up, and it was the pain-in-the A## Secret Service guys saying they had to take me away. They said that they were by earlier and no one answered, and then assumed I was in my English Composition class. They could not find me there. Ha Ha, I already know how to speak English, so I usually blow off that class.
The SS guys said that they were taking me to an “Indisclosed safe locale”. I said I couldn’t because some guy that I was making out with last night was supposed to take me to lunch. They said it was an order from my dad. I said that I will just call my mom, cause she would understand a whole lot better. They didn’t listen and they made me grab my stuff and leave my room. I couldn’t even use the bathroom.
While I was driving with them, I started to feel sick. Lucky for me, the place we were going was real close by. They finally got me to the Army base, and I got to lay down for a while. Someone ordered me a pizza, but the idiot got one with pepperoni, and I hate pepperoni. I just like taco pizzas with extra holipenyas.
Well, I had to hang out in this crappy base for four days, which really sucked because I could not see my friends and I had to miss out on the Wednesday night parties, which really are awesome. At least there were some pretty hot soldier guys there. I also got to skip class for an entire week without getting into trouble, and a couple of the soldier guys were nice enough to get me some beer since I was real stressed out. All in all, it wasn’t a bad way to spend a week. And now, everyone likes my dad too since he is going to get the bad Arab guys.

I thought I would give you a 'compare and contrast' example of one of the major differences between my country and yours.
In an article in today's Sunday Telegraph (UK newspaper, on page 15) Prince William mentions that he has no regrets at missing the induction week at the start of his university education in Scotland.
He is quoted as saying:
'I thought I would end up in a gutter completely wrecked [drunk] and the people I had met wouldn't end up being my friends anyway'.
It seems that teenage drinking by people in the public eye is not treated as anything shocking. Not bad for the second in line to the throne!
Also, last year, our Prime Minister's 16-year old son, Euan Blair WAS found alone VERY drunk in Leicester Square (London's equivalent of Times Square) by police.
He lied about his name when taken into custody. The prime minister himself, Tony Blair, was booked to appear on a news programme that night called 'Question Time' and had to field questions about the matter. A woman in the audience said she thought that it was normal for kids of Euan's age to get drunk. There was a loud burst of applause from the middle-aged audience!
So if we can cope with this issue, why do people in the US find it so shocking?

Yo What up! I'm a student at UT-Austin and I saw Jenna at the game against UNC today. She was about 2 rows in front of me and she was traaaaaaashed as was most of her clique!!!!
