Jenna and her new boyfriend (Sorry Walker Steward, your days are over) went out to dinner last weekend. The alert wait staff recognized Jenna and would not serve her margaritas. (She may have had a new fake ID; I am checking out this lead). Luckily, her new beau's parents chaperoned the date, and they ordered drinks for Jenna and her boyfriend. My sources were not sure of his name, but it may have been Cooper. Please email me if you have any fresh twin gossip! The gossip well has been mightly dry recently.
Enquirer update
An employee of the Enquirer called and promised me a subscription to the most sought after gossip rag in the USA. The individual also informed me of scandalous photos of Barbara 'napping' in Cancun last year and photos of Jenna wearing Mikey Mouse ears dancing around a sorority. Frankly, the Mikey Mouse ear photos don't sound too interesting, but if I had them, dear First Twin fans, I would surely scan them and place them here for your enjoyment. Apparently, the deal for the Enquirer to buy the photos fell through and the photos were destroyed.
Barbara out on the town
Barbara and six of her girlfriends from Yale party at the Lotus in New York City on occasion. Was Barbara only drinking Coke-Cola, or was she sneaking rum into her drink? In 224 days or so, she will turn 21 . The Lotus is a hip, neighborhood bar with not many tourists. www.pagesix.com.

Jenna and Barbara spent Thanksgiving and their birthdays with their family at Camp David. One more year until they are 21! TheFirstTwins credits Jenna's action more as alcohol induced experimentation; only the future will reveal her true orientation.

This column promised more photos in the newer Enquirer; however, upon glancing over it in the Supermarket today, I could not find the newer pics. There are news on BatBoy of the World Weekly News, however! The Secret service chased him out of Austin last month and he got hit by a truck. He is all bandaged up and in recovery.

June 9th, Barbara and Jenna attended an Austin High baseball game and met up with some old pals. (They both attended Austin High.) My older sister liked these pictures, because "they are candid and I can see what they really look like. There are a lot of cell phones in the pictures!"
Both the twins are on the cover of PEOPLE magazine! They are on the June 18, 2001 edition. Just a year after being voted "most likely to be on the cover of Vogue", Barbara (and Jenna) have done it! Granted, the article merely rehashes the old Chuy's hubbub and whether or not the media should report on the twins at all. For the pictures, I'd recommend buying the magazine, however the article breaks no new news. Another article in People is quite interesting: many of the other ex First Kids are interviewed. In terms of content, the bat-boy story in the World Weekly News on the other hand is a real collectors item!

'Camp David Bush-Pow-Wow' happened this past weekend. What happened, did the Enforcer tell the Twins to chill out? I just bought a copy of the National Examiner (another collectors item, hehe), and they have an article on the Twins. Chuy's stooped to dialing 911 to narc out Jenna and her friends. What is this world coming to? Couldn't Chuy just take their fake id's and tell them to leave? Most likely, The First Twins were ordering margaritas. Served in a salt rimmed cocktail glass, Margaritas are made of tequila, lime juice, and triple sec. TheFirstTwins look down on Chuy for not taking the law into their own hands on this one!

Where was the Secret Service this time? Well, I have a new theory about the SS's stance. In 1998, the Supreme Court ruled that the Secret Service must -- to the SS's chagrin -- testify against their protectee's if subpoena'd. The case invloved Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinsky, and a SS in the know. Now, they probabaly have orders to 'see no evil' and 'speak no evil'. In other words, they step outside when laws are broken so they are not witnesses, and then can not be called as witnesses in court. Really, this is not good for the safety of the twins: body gaurds are most needed when drunk!

At approximately 10:19 P.M. on Tuesday, May 29th, the Austin Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting minors attempting to purchase alcohol. The caller was the manager of Chuy's Restaurant located at 1728 Barton Springs Road.
APD patrol officers arrived and found that Jenna and Barbara Bush, 19, were alleged to have been involved in this incident.
As no offense was witnessed by APD officers, following routine procedures, further investigation is required to determine if any charges will be filed. APD and the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission are investigating this incident.

In the past couple of days, the old school media (Television, Newspapers, etc) have been covering the story. The problem with them is they are too self aware. Their questions always lead to, 'Should we be doing this?' That is one of the reasons I have turned to tabloids for information over the past year. National Enquirer doesn't ask, 'Is this News?' for two weeks after school. Jenna: drinking (as you know) is fun; don't them brainwash you out of this!
Jenna got busted for drinking! A female friend and Jenna were drinking beers on Austin's 6th Street Strip -- the main nightlife area in Jenna's college town. (My favorite nightclub there is Emo's.) They didn't get hauled into the station, but she and a few other minors were cited on the spot with misdermeanors. In California, the bar serving the alcohol also gets a fine; is this true in Texas? Hmmm... "A first offense means the business loses its liquor license for seven to 20 days, or pays a penalty of $150 to $25,000 each day for every day the license would have been suspended." -- that's what the Internet has to say about selling booze to minors in Texas.
You'd think the secret service would have tipped her off that the cops were doing age check sweeps in the neighborhood. Jenna, here is some advice: buy some 40oz beers and go drink them by the river or in the bushes on campus somewhere.

Also, Barbara ditched the Secret service at a toll booth on one of her NYC escapades: her vehicle had a electronic toll paying device, but the secret service had to slow down and find the correct change to pay toll. Once they paid, the black vehicle reached speeds in excess of 119 mph to catch up with Barbara. Babs and her friends still made it to the WWF at Madisoin Square Garden in time to see plenty of smack down action! (Did Barbara freak out when the speeding Secret Service vehicle pulled up to her car? I would!)

I was shopping in Albertsons' and lo and behold, The Globe Magazine has photos of Barbara dancing with Fabian! Rumor has it that the TV show 48 hours will be airing the footage in March 2004. The Globe also has a photo of Lauren's breast hopping out of her loose green garment. 
Barbara and her parents went on a elephant shooting safari in Botswana. They were shooting the elephants with cameras, not guns, silly! 
WOW! Two Iranian Siamese Twins are to be seprataed! They are Iranian, and the word Siamese is not an ethnical modifier of the Twins, but a description of the fact that they are connected at the head! Jenna and Barbara sure are lucky they were not stapled together in the womb: the surgery will last 48 hours for these Iranian women: may the operation go smoothly.

ET reports, "Ashton Kutcher corrupted the Bush twins before they came of age. The hunky actor tells Rolling Stone about the time he and a friend met Jenna and Barbara at a Nike party and invited them back to his house. Kutcher insisted the Secret Service remain outside and 'the Bushes were underage-drinking at my house,' he tells the mag. 'When I checked outside, one of the Secret Service guys asked me if they'd be spending the night. I said no.
