Tuesday - October 22,2002 Noelle UpdateLauren was grabbing the media spotlight, but, recently, all the interesting news has been about Noelle Bush. Here are the updates, Jeb visited Noelle in jail for 15 minutes, yesterday. Good, she needs your support, Jeb. I was fishing around the net for some other articles on this case and found some more interesting information. The workers who initially reported that Noelle had a crack rock ripped up their reports on the matter under instructions from their supervisor. Noelle motioned for her case to be closed to the public, but that was denied. Finally, Noelle's case has sparked interest in drug-related public health care.
Thursday - October 17, 2002 Noelle Sent To Jail!Frankly, I am astonished that Noelle got sent to the slammer for 10 days: Doesn't the court turn reports/allegations into proven facts? Okay, my astonishment aside, let's look at the sentencing trial details. Noelle was sentenced to 10 days after which she has to return to her drug treatment program. After Judge Reginald Whitehead doled out the jail time, Noelle said she was sorry and would try to do better in rehab.  New Smyrna is a vacation town and elementary school is, well, an elementary school. George, in my humble opinion, should have gone to the trial, supported his neice, and then spoke at University of Florida. Jeb made a comment that Noelle is on her own and has to work through her drug problem. Jeez, that is harsh. Thursday - August 8, 2002 Lauren backpack's EuropeLauren backpacked for 6 weeks across southern Europe with pals. They hiked through France, Italy, and Spain. Slendid views of the Mediterranean are possible from these countries. Swimming in the blue-green waters there is a blast, I am sure Lauren would concur. On Tuesday, Jenna and Barbara Bush's cousin went to the Escada Fragrence showroom in Paris where she considered doing a fragrance ad campaign for Escada scents. On the Yale website, prospective students can access rejection or acceptance letters online.
Lauren applied to Yale, and the Princeton University admissions officers were interested in
wether or not Yale had let Lauren in. So, since they had Lauren's Social Security number and
date of birth on file, they logged into the Yale website and looked for themselves. In fact,
the Princeton folk checked Lauren's acceptance notice eighteen (18) times in the month of
April. I wonder if the Princeton folk attended the recent Hacker Convention in New York City!

charged with prescription fraud, police said today. Police did not
immediately release details of the charge against Noelle Bush, who
is in her early 20s. Bush and his wife, Columba, issued a statement
saying they were "deeply saddened" by the incident involving their
only daughter. "This is a very serious problem," they said in the
statement. "Unfortunately, substance abuse is an issue confronting
many families across our nation."
